Before ordering a Web Party package from webpartytime.com, you must first read and agree to the following terms.

Throughout these terms “We” refers to “Web Party Time by Tricia Hobbs” and the following terms refer to any person using our website or purchasing one of our products: “You,” “Host,” and “Customer.” “Web Party Time” and “Web Party Time by Tricia Hobbs” may be used interchangeably.

Services Provided: Web Party Time provides a customizable website to use for hosting a virtual event (such as a baby shower, wedding shower, or birthday party). When You purchase a Web Party Package, You are not purchasing ownership of your event website. You are purchasing the ability to use and customize the site for your event. All content We provide to You is owned and copyrighted by Web Party Time (© 2023 Web Party Time by Tricia Hobbs). You may not copy or redistribute any content (including but not limited to pages, text, games, and images).

System Requirements:
Hosts will need a computer or mobile device with internet access. Editing is easiest on a computer, but possible on a mobile device. In order to edit the website, Hosts will need a password, which We will provide. In order to use the Photo Booth feature, guests will need a computer or mobile device with a camera. The Photo Booth works in most computer and mobile browsers, but hosts and guests can contact Web Party Time for technical support.

Guests do not need accounts to view and participate in the event: Guests will not need a password or account to view the Web Party site. All they will need is the unique URL We will provide to You, the host. This URL will be unlisted, so most search engines will not index your event website, however, anyone with the link will be able to view the site. As the Host, You will also have access to the Host Page with various instructions and tools. The Host Page will not be visible to guests unless You share the password with them..

Technical Support: At this time, We cannot provide free on-demand technical support once You have ordered and accessed your site. We will provide You with detailed instructions for managing your event website, and We will do our best to respond to emails with questions or concerns. It is ultimately up to You, the host, to maintain the website for the duration of the event. We do offer additional technical support for a fee. If purchased, a technical support representative will request necessary information from the customer in order to complete the personalization of the event website. However, the technical support representative cannot invite or mass-email guests. The You will still be responsible for all communication with guests.

Determining game winners: As a host, if You want to announce winners for any of the games, You will have access to a page where You can view guests’ entries. Some games have obvious winners (i.e. high scores) while others are just fun to participate in (i.e. polls). You are in charge of determining and announcing any winners. We will not automatically notify winners.

Video Meetup: If You choose to host a Video Meetup as part of our Web Party, We will set You up with an R.S.V.P. page to inform guests about the date and time and collect guest responses. However, You are responsible for facilitating the call and making sure guests know how to participate. Zoom, Google Meet, and Jitsi all have free options for hosting a video call.

Event Length: We will keep your site live for a default of two months. After this time, both You and guests will no longer be able to view the site. Make sure You announce any game winners any download any mementos before this time. If You want to extend the event time, You can arrange this when ordering your site by purchasing additional time for an additional fee.

Acceptable Use: Your website is for personal use only and it is intended for only You and your invited guests. As a host, You are responsible for ensuring that You and your guests use your event website appropriately and solely for its intended purpose. We reserve the right to shut down your website at any time if We find that it is being misused or hosting vulgar or illegal content.

Customers and guests may only upload content to their event site that they own or have permission to use. You may not upload any copyrighted materials (including but not limited to images, artwork, or copyrighted text) to your event site or scrapbook without written consent from the copyright holder. We reserve the right to remove any material from an event site that infringes on someone else's copyright and/or take down an event site without notice.

You acknowledge that are You responsible for any material you post to your event site (i.e. images and text). You acknowledge that You, and not Web Party Time, will be solely liable for any damage resulting from any infringement of copyrights, trademarks, or any other harm resulting from anything you post on your site.

Hosts may not ask guests to submit sensitive personal information through forms on the event website (not limited to email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, credit card numbers, and other personal identifying information. Web Party Time may delete this information from your Host Page if it is collected. We suggest You ask guests to send You this information personally if needed for the event.

Users: Hosts and guests must be 13 years of age or older. If a host wants to invite a child under the age of 13 to participate in a Web Party, consider inviting the child's parents or legal guardian to participate on their behalf.

Responsibility and Liability: We can provide support and tips for hosting Your event, but Web Party Time is not responsible for how successful your event is.

Refunds: We offer a full refund within the first 7 days of receiving your order. Beyond that, we will consider refunds on a case by case basis. We cannot guarantee that your request for a refund will be granted after 7 days.
